About the Event
Even one word is sacred.
This is a monthly place for contemplation, meditation, reflection, and presence. This month's Sacred Reading will feature poetry by Naomi Shihab Nye. Each event will center on a single poem or short text with no pre-reading required. We’ll spend time with the works of authors like Audre Lorde, Ross Gay, John O’Donohue, Kai Cheng Thom and more. Come and be nourished by words, by food, and by one another. Reading begins at 7 PM and food will be provided. Please be mindful of arriving on time to share a collective experience as we drop into this practice together.
