About the Event

Join us for a dynamic, community-centered forum exploring how art, activism, and collective imagination shape the world we live in and the one we’re working to build. This freely offered gathering invites New Haven-based artists, organizers, and community members into a shared space of inquiry, expression, and connection.

The day will open with a panel discussion featuring Arvia Walker, Ruby Hernandez Gonzalez, Juanita Sunday, and Jasmin Agosto, who are local artists, curators, organizers, and cultural workers engaging the intersections of power, politics, and creative practice.


Throughout the day, we’ll experience powerful artistic offerings, including a Bomba performance by Movimiento Cultural and spoken word by New Haven Poet Laureate Yexandra Diaz.


We are also excited to welcome visual artist & muralist Kwadwo Adae, who will be creating live art during the forum.


After a shared lunch at 12:30 PM, we’ll move into a space for reflection and group connection, closing the…
